Nell’articolo “XXVIII Concorso di Modellismo Statico AMB” ho avuto occasione di raccontare la mia partecipazione all’evento organizzato il 9 e 10 novembre 2024 dall’Associazione Modellisti Bresciani presso gli spazi del Museo Millemiglia di Brescia. In tale contesto, ho accennato anche all’inaspettata presenza di alcuni gruppi di Reenactors nel cortile interno del museo. Tale partecipazione era arricchita da alcuni veicoli americani splendidamente restaurati che offrivano la cornice ideale ai figuranti ed al concorso modellistico.

Pur non essendo esperto di mezzi statunitensi, è stato facile riconoscere Willys, Dodge e GMC di cui propongo qui di seguito qualche foto insieme alle immagini di una bella MG-42 su treppiede antiaereo che, come un intruso inaspettato, faceva bella mostra di sé fra gli iconici veicoli americani.

In the article “XXVIII AMB Static Modeling Competition” I had the opportunity to tell about my participation in the event organized on 9 and 10 November 2024 by Associazione Modellisti Bresciani at the Millemiglia Museum in  Brescia. In this context, I also mentioned the unexpected presence of some groups of Reenactors in the inner courtyard of the museum. This participation was enriched by some beautifully restored American vehicles that offered the ideal setting for the participants and the modeling competition.

Although I am not an expert in American vehicles, it was easy to recognize Willys, Dodge and GM of which I propose below some photos together with the images of a beautiful MG-42 on an anti-aircraft tripod which, like an unexpected intruder, was proudly displayed among the iconic American vehicles.
